Full Participation by information technology
KSRPD makes information accessible for persons with disabilities. In particular, KSRPD has provided various activities for addressing digital divide since 1996 by operating website www.freeget.net, the leading comprehensive network system, and nurtured talented persons in the information society. Our activities include:
- Information Technology Festival for Persons with Disabilities
- Operating Rehabilitation Support Center for Persons with Disabilities
Establishing Information Infrastructure for Persons with Disabilities and Operating the comprehensive network system "freeget"
Theme 2. Network
An Expert's efforts to make an inclusive society
KSRPD has created leading paradigm in the disability welfare field by establishing
disability experts' network at home and abroad and promoting their social participation.
KSRPD has conducted various international cooperation programs since it has been
affiliated with Rehabilitation International in 1954, which is composed of more than 700
members in 90 countries around the globe, and carried out Research and Development activities and solidarity activities by forming 'RI Korea', a committee of rehabilitation experts run by KSRPD,in 1995. RI Korea is composed of 350 disability experts with 12 committee such as ICTA, education, employment, human rights, women with disabilities and soon.

Theme 3. Empowerment
The youth with disabilities with dreams
KSRPD conducts leadership training programs and supports self-help organization for empowerment of the youth with disabilities and develops educational programs for the university students to raise public awareness.
Our activities include
¡Ý Offshore study trip program : Global Challenges for the Young Adults with Disabilities
¡Ý Educational assistance program for persons with disabilities and their family : 'i-mentoring' tutoring program
¡Ý Self-help organization program for the youth with disabilities : youth with disabilities who herald future society
Theme 4. Resource & Development
Citizens' movement for an inclusive society
KSRPD has been conducting the publicity and public awareness program for citizens, mass-media and business and facilitating resource development program in order to raise public awareness on disability, provides broader opportunities for employment of persons with disabilities and prevent disability.
Our activities include:

The Employment Promotion and Vocational Rehabilitation Fund for People with Disabilities entrusted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare since 2000, October
